Services Changing to 9 & 10:45am

Why Are We Changing Service Times? Beginning April 27, our Sunday service times will shift to 9:00am and 10:45am. While it’s just a 15-minute change, it’s designed to make a meaningful impact for our church family.

Here’s why:
  • Smoother Transitions: The extra time helps ease the rush between services—especially for families, volunteers, and our parking lot.
  • More Connection: A little breathing room creates more space to connect with others between services—across generations and friend groups.
  • Simpler for Volunteers & Families: This margin gives teams time to reset and helps parents check kids in without the scramble.

We believe this new rhythm will create a more peaceful, connected, and intentional Sunday morning experience for everyone. Thanks for adapting with us!

Changes for Families

Starting April 27th, we’re excited to launch a new rhythm for families on Sunday mornings that’s built around simplicity, intergenerational worship, and smoother transitions.

Here’s what to expect:
  1. Check-In Happens in One Spot: Every child and student—from nursery through youth—will now check in at the Family Corner in the Main Building before service begins. (We’re giving that area a little makeover to make it more inviting and functional!)
  2. Drop-Off Details by Age:
    1. Nursery and Preschool-aged kids can be dropped off in their classrooms before service begins, just like usual.
    2. Elementary students (K–5th grade) and Youth will now join their families in the main service for the opening portion of worship each week (about 15–20 minutes).
  3. A Shared Start + Smooth Transition: We love the idea of our kids and teens beginning worship with their parents and the larger church body. This allows space for intergenerational worship, a sense of belonging, and a shared experience to launch the morning. After the first portion of worship, there will be a natural breather in the service where kids (elementary and youth) will be dismissed to their leaders, who will walk with them over to the Family Life Center for their age-specific teaching and community time.
  4. Pick-Up Stays the Same: After service, elementary kids will still be picked up from the Family Life Center, just like before.
