Who We Are

We exist to make known the redeeming, renewing, & reconciling love of Jesus.

REDEEM STORIES

We believe every story matters to God—no matter how messy or broken. Scripture says, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace” (Ephesians 1:7). Jesus rescues, forgives, and transforms us through the power of the cross. He redeems what was lost and brings new life where there was once only pain.

RENEW HOPE

Hope isn’t found in what’s temporary—it’s found in Jesus. As the world wears us down, we hold onto the truth: “Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day” (2 Corinthians 4:16). In Christ, our hope is secure and our strength is made new daily.

RECONCILE COMMUNITIES

We live in a divided world—but Jesus came to reconcile what’s been separated. The Bible tells us, “God was pleased… to reconcile to Himself all things… by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross” (Colossians 1:19–20). As His Church, we’re called to carry that message of peace, healing relationships and building unity through the love of Christ.

Core Values

Because following a person is different than fitting into an institution. John 14:6

Because God’s truth is steadfast when culture is not. 2 Timothy 3:16

Because there is space for everyone at the table. Ephesians 2:4-5

Because life is uncertain and questions are real. Mark 9:23-25

Because I am good but we are better together. Philippians 2:3-4

Because you were created for relationship with God and others. Acts 2:44-47

Because often purpose becomes clear as you begin to walk. Ephesians 2:10

Core Beliefs

Our core beliefs and doctrines are rooted in alignment with our denomination's (Christian and Missionary Alliance) Statement of Faith, the Fourfold Gospel, and Alliance Perspectives.

We believe that there is one God who is the Creator of everything and that he exists in three co-equal and co-eternal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17, Hebrews 1:2-3)

We believe that the Holy Spirit is active in the world today, empowering believers to live out their faith with boldness, conviction, and love. The Spirit convicts us of sin, comforts us in trials, equips us with spiritual gifts, and guides us into truth as we grow in Christlikeness.

(John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-25; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11)

We believe that God created us in his image to worship him and give him glory, but as a result of original sin, we are born lost and powerless to save ourselves. This is true of both men and women, who are equal partners in God's mission and reflect his beauty, goodness, and creativity.

(Genesis 1:26-27; Matthew 4:10; Galatians 3:28)

We believe that God is a sending God who cares about the needs of all people and that the church, as Christ’s body, is to show his love and care for others. Every member of the church is sent out by Jesus as a minister of the gospel, declaring the love of Christ with our lips and demonstrating the love of Christ with our lives — not only in our communities but also to the farthest and most unreached places of the world.

(Isaiah 49:6; Matthew 28:18-20; John 20:20; 1 Timothy 2:3-4)

We believe that the gospel is the good news of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection and is the foundation of our faith. The gospel is the central message that while we were dead in our sin, God sent his son Jesus to live a perfect life on our behalf, die a substitutionary death to pay the penalty for our sin, and rise again from the grave to offer us new life in his Spirit. We believe that the gospel is not earned by good works, but received by faith and given freely by the grace of God who loves all people.

(Acts 2:22-2:39; Galatians 3:13; 1 Corinthians 15:3-15)

We believe that following Jesus means being a part of the church, the body of Christ, a movement of disciple-making disciples. As such, the church exists to be a family for the purpose of mutual encouragement, spiritual growth, accountability, and as a missional hub for the gospel. We believe in the ordinances of baptism and The Lord's Supper.

(1 Corinthians 12:12-31; Ephesians 4:11-16; Colossians 1:18-20; 1 Peter 2:9)

We believe all of Scripture to be God’s inspired Word, a true and accurate account of God’s love for us. Its purpose is to make known the salvation offered through Jesus, teach us how to have a relationship with him, worship him, and bring him glory.

(Psalm 19:7-10; 2 Timothy 3:15-17)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, the eternal conscious existence of all mankind either in heaven or hell and in divine judgments, rewards, and punishments. We believe that Jesus Christ will return in person to earth in power and glory.

(John 5:29; Acts 1:11; Revelation 19-20)

Our Story

On November 7, 1999, Snoqualmie Valley Alliance was planted with a simple but powerful mission: to help people find their way back to God. That vision, carried by our founding pastor Monty Wright and nine pioneering families, took root in an elementary school cafeteria with a deep belief that following Jesus is a joy—and His Church should reflect that.

Since then, God has grown those humble beginnings into a vibrant church family. Our Fall City campus has welcomed thousands of individuals and families over the years, and our reach now extends to communities both near and far. Through it all, we’ve stayed passionate about reaching the unchurched and de-churched with the relevant, life-changing message of Jesus—choosing depth over hype, and transformation over trend.

Our Affiliation

SVA Church is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination. In America, the C&MA totals about 429,000 believers in 2,000+ churches. In addition, the C&MA church worldwide includes over 20,000 churches and three million adherents.

The heartbeat of the C&MA is make know all of Jesus for all the world – helping people experience Him as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King while partnering together to complete His Great Commission.
