Shame Resilience
Jun 20, 2021 • Glen Johnson
When we think about mental health we often think in terms of barrels, or maybe spreadsheets: “I want to get to the bottom of this problem.” And onions: “I want to peel off the layers of this problem and get to the core.”
If Susie and I correctly understand Genesis and the books we have read on shame, shame is the bottom of the barrel and the center of the onion. Believing this can greatly encourage those of us who yearn to become shame resilient. This Sunday join Glen Johnson, who helps lead the Shame and Resilience class, as he dives into conversation 6 of the Struggle is Real.
