Revelation Week 23: Leaving Babylon

We worship relevancy in the United States and in our culture - I would even say globally. Everyone wants to be relevant. And there's nothing wrong with relevancy; unless the things you do to become relevant become your identity..... Your job is not your identity. Your kids are not your identity. Your Facebook posts are not your identity. All of the things that we try to manage in our lives so that we're relevant, if that is where your identity is coming from, you won't have the capacity to see through the seduction of culture.
