The SVA Discovery Track is a great place to start! Whether you are new to SVA, new to following Jesus, or just need a refresher, these once-a-month classes are spaces to ask questions, get tools for the journey, and help you grow in your relationship with God and community.

Discover Classes are every third Sunday of the month. Take one or all four; each class is designed to stand alone so that you can jump in anytime.

New to SVA? This class is the first step to plugging into community! If you're new to SVA or have joined us this year, we would love to meet you and share all that God is up to and how you might be part of it. In this conversation, we’ll walk through the heartbeat of our mission, values, leadership structure, affiliation, ministries, and what it means to be a partner at SVA. Discover SVA is offered the third Sunday of January, May, and September. 

In this conversation, we will dig deeper into core theological and doctrinal topics, such as Jesus as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. It can be complicating to understand what to believe and how to support it… This conversation will give you a good foundation to discern what is core, commitment, or conviction as we all wrestle with God’s word together. By using SVA’s Statement of Faith as a starting point, we hope that this will aid in your understanding and articulation of key Gospel truths.

A central part of living on mission for Jesus is understanding how He has created you and where He desires for you to serve. Sometimes, this is a challenge to figure out on your own! This conversation will focus on spiritual gifts and how to discover, develop, and deploy them. Whether it’s in the SVA community or into the local Snoqualmie Valley, God has given you gifts for a purpose. This conversation will get you headed in the right direction as you begin to put your faith into action.
