Therapists at the SVA Care Cottages:
Start a conversation today to begin a journey of healing, hope, and help!
As we engaged with local non-profits and therapists providing mental health services in the Snoqualmie Valley, we asked, "How can a church help?" The resounding response was, "SPACE!" Many therapists face challenges with the availability and affordability of private offices, making it difficult to serve our community effectively.
Our goal is to foster a mutually beneficial partnership that:
- Supports Local Counselors by offering below-market rental rates and a welcoming environment.
- Serves the Community by encouraging the availability of affordable counseling options.
- Maintains Sustainability by using minimal fees to support the ongoing maintenance and future impact of the Care Cottages.

"My hope is that I can welcome clients to a compassionate environment where they are seen and heard—a safe place to process their story and embark on a journey of growth and healing."

Eric Shoubridge
“Do you find uncomfortable thoughts or feelings drop in on you uninvited? Intrusive thoughts and feelings can lead to fear and shame around the things you hold most dear - your life, your loved ones, your identity, your faith. The good news is these experiences don't have to derail your goals or define your life!”

Nathalie DiDomenico
"I believe we have all encountered places in which we have been violated, misused, dishonored and alone. It is my hope that by revisiting these places of hurt, together we can compassionately work to understand your story."

Space for key partnerships in the Snoqualmie Valley to offer care, hope, and services
The vision for the SVA Care Cottages is to provide space for community therapists, non-profits, and other ministries of the Snoqualmie Valley. On a sliding scale fee basis, our hope is to support the great work that is already being done from Duvall to North Bend by offering neutral, private, and comfortable space for key conversations. Each Cottage is designed and furnished for a primary use, but each has flexibility for a myriad of purposes.
