Who We Are

concert

We're Creative

We believe that church should be a fun and creative experience, so we are willing to do and try different things in order to make Jesus famous in a positive way. While we are Biblical in our beliefs, we make services and learning fun, creative and engaging.

Prayer Ministry at SVA

We're Prayerful

At SVA Church we pray like it depends on God, and work like it depends on us. We want to be great at living out the great commandment and the great commission. We strive to make the name of Jesus famous in our generation.

We're Relevant

We believe that if you want to reach people no one is reaching, you have to do things no one is doing. A church that stays within its four walls isn’t a church at all. We don’t go to church because we ARE the church. The church is not a noun, it’s a verb, an action verb.

SVA is graceful

We're Graceful

We want to be known more for what we are for than what we are against. We celebrate each person as invaluable and irreplaceable in the eyes of God. Like Jesus, we love people unconditionally.

We're here to help you on your journey

We're Safe

If you've never set foot in a church or been in church your whole life, we're here to help. No matter where you are in your faith journey, we're here to help you and we're not afraid of the hard questions.

SVA is a safe place to explore your faith

We're Hopeful

We hope to be apart of the God-dream that's inside of you, and we invite you to become a part of the mission of SVA! We see ourselves as a community where people boldly step into the dream God has for them and go for it!

Our History

SVA Church began on November 7th, 1999 with the belief that church should be a fun, casual, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere.

Our first location was in the cafeteria of Opstad Elementary School in North Bend, WA with nine families that joined our founding pastors, Monty Wright and Marty Benedict.

After outgrowing Opstad Elementary School, we moved to Mount Si High School in Snoqualmie, until finally purchasing and remodeling the current campus in Fall City.

Since our beginning over 20 years ago, thousands of individuals and families from all over the area have called SVA their church home.

As our church family grew we've continued to make an impact in our community and the world, knowing that God has big plans for the future of SVA and for you.

Our passion at SVA Church is to reach the unchurched and de-churched with the relevant, life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

If you're looking for a place to meet some great people and explore your faith, we invite you to become a part of SVA,

What We Believe

What we believe about the Bible

About The Bible

We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired by God, infallible, and is His revelation to humanity for salvation. The Scriptures serve as the authority and foundation for Christian living.

2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21

About God

About God

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Genesis 1:26; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19

Humankind

About Mankind

We believe that mankind was created in the image of God, but as the result of sin, he is lost and powerless to save himself.

Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 2:7-3:19; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12-21; Romans 6:23

About Jesus

About Jesus and Salvation

We believe that the only hope for man is to believe in Jesus Christ, the virgin-born Son of God, who died to take upon Himself the punishment for the sin of mankind. We believe further in the bodily resurrection of Jesus from the dead. It is by receiving Him as Lord that man is made spiritually alive. This begins a relationship with the living Savior.

About Eternity

About Eternity

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, the eternal conscious existence of all mankind either in heaven or hell and in divine judgments, rewards, and punishments. We believe, as well, that Jesus Christ will return in person to earth in power and glory.

Holy Spirit

About The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells those who have received Christ for the purpose of enabling them to live righteous and godly lives. Both the gifts and fruit of the Spirit are a continuing part of God's plan for His Church. It is God's will that each believer be filled with the Holy Spirit.

About the Church

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ and is composed of all those who, through belief in Christ, have been spiritually regenerated by the indwelling Holy Spirit. The mission of the Church is worldwide evangelism on the one hand, and the nurture and discipling of Christians on the other. We believe in the ordinances of baptism and The Lord's Supper.
