Frequently Asked Questions
Most people dress casually, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
Services begin at 8:30 am and 10:30 am. We suggest you arrive 5-10 minutes early to park, get a cup of coffee, and find a seat. The parking team will direct you to the closest available spot once you arrive on campus.
As you’re walking to the main building, the greeting team will welcome you into the Connections Cafe and show you where to find the auditorium, restrooms, and children’s ministry if you have kids with you. If you need anything throughout the day — a Bible, a pen, or someone to talk to — feel free to stop by the Welcome Desk in the Connections Cafe. Or, just ask anyone with a SVA Church lanyard or name tag. We’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to serve you.
Gatherings last about an hour and 10 minutes. We start with singing a few songs, a greeting from our host team, and then you’ll hear from a member of our teaching team. To get a feel for our teaching style, check out the current series. At the end of the gathering, we create space to respond to what we’ve heard by singing, praying for one another, and bringing our tithes and offerings. Our worship is often characterized as eclectic, authentic, Spirit-driven.
We love to serve families at SVA Church! On Sunday mornings we have unique programming for nursery aged, Preschool, Elementary, and Middle/High School Students. Children in 1st-5th grade meet in our Family Life Center Building across the parking lot from the Main Building. Nursery & Preschoolministries meet in the Main Building. Depending on the age of your kids, arrive a bit early to check them in with our Children’s Volunteer Team so they can have a great service themselves!

Let’s be honest... Coffee is a big deal! We love great coffee here at SVA and have great drip coffees and tea for you to enjoy when you come to service.
Or if you prefer a more craft cup of coffee, skip that Starbucks drive-through on your way to church and buy your coffee from one of our skilled baristas in the Connections Café.
Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, a single parent, broke, an addict, bi-racial, a skeptic, etc. Everyone is welcome at SVA Church. So come as you are, and we’ll see you on Sunday.
